“Healthy Dad, Happy Dad” Video Contest Rules

Objectives

  • To educate fathers and their families about the importance of early detection of prostate cancer. 
  • To empower participants to create videos that inspire action and spread awareness within their communities. 
  • To cultivate a supportive online community dedicated to men’s health advocacy.

Eligibility 

  • The competition is open to all Malaysians aged 18 and above.

Theme

  • “Healthy Dad, Happy Dad”

Video Specifications

  • The video must incorporate the message about fatherhood and  prostate cancer, risk factors and early detection.
  • In a vertical format, the video length should not exceed 3 minutes.

Submission Process

  • Participants must tag challenge hashtag: #HealthyDadHappyDad and label the organiser’s Instagram or TikTok account (@BeatProstateCancer) 
  • Participants must fill up the contest registration form: https://bit.ly/healthydadvideocontest
  • New Submission Deadline: 31 July 2024 

Sharing and Engagement

  • Once submitted, participants are encouraged to share their videos on their own Instagram profiles.
  • Participants must actively promote their videos and encourage likes and engagement from their followers.
  • The number of likes and engagement (comments, shares) on each video will be taken into consideration during the judging process.

Judging Criteria

  •   Creativity of the content.
  •   Relevance to the theme.
  •   Level of engagement generated by the video.

Category

  • Category A: English
  • Category B: Malay
  • Category C: Mandarin 

Prize

For each category: 

  • 1st Prize: RM800 + e-Certificate
  • 2nd Prize: RM500 + e-Certificate
  • 3rd Prize: RM250 + e-Certificate
  • Consolation Prizes: RM100 + e-Certificate 

*Prizes in Touch ‘n Go Credits 

Announcement of Winners 

  • The winner will be announced in August via the organiser’s Instagram account.
  • The judges’ decision is final and no objections will be entertained.

Rights & Permissions

  • By participating in the competition, participants grant the organiser permission to share their videos on their Instagram account and other promotional materials.
  • Participants retain the rights to their videos and can continue to share them on their own platforms.

Compliance with Instagram Guidelines

  • All entries must comply with Instagram’s community guidelines and terms of service.
  • Any inappropriate or offensive content will lead to disqualification.
